Patches are Updates to Identity V . The game has a weekly maintenance window for NA/EU that happens between 07:00 PM and 10:00 PM server time. Large patches almost always land during this maintenance window.

New Survivor Name: Ganji Gupta Career: Batter Introduction: No one, no matter how affable one is, can tolerate repeated deception. Even after all this time, Ganji struggles to find a sense of belonging. External Trait: Cricket Bat: The Batter carries a Cricket Bat with him. Tap and hold to hit a cricket ball in a specified direction. The longer you hold, the greater the charge, and the more velocity the cricket ball has. Cricket Hit: The cricket ball will gradually lose velocity as it travels farther. A Hunter hit by the cricket ball will be knocked back. The more velocity the cricket ball has, the farther the Hunter will be knocked back. The Batter can pick up cricket balls on the ground to increase the usage of [Cricket Bat]. Rampage: The Batter focuses his energy to unleash a 20-second Rampage. He must wait 40 seconds after each Rampage before activating the next one. If a cricket ball hits a Hunter when the Batter is on a rampage, the hit will stun the Hunter upon hitting an obstacle. The farther the knockback distance, the longer the stun duration. If a cricket ball hits an obstacle when the Batter is on a rampage, the cricket ball will shatter and becomes irretrievable. Athletic: Athletically gifted. Obstacle vaulting speed is increased by 20%, and pallet pulling speed is increased by 20%. Altruism: The Batter refuses to stand back when others are in danger. When a Survivor is attacked within 18 meters of him, as long as the Batter is not being pursued, his movement speed will increase by 50% for 10 seconds. He must wait 60 seconds before the speed boost can be triggered again. All Thumbs: Clumsy and terrible with machines. Decoding speed is decreased by 20%.

- Added 4 new character story subplots for the Magician. Players must complete the Basic Objective in the last stage of Magician's Deduction Quest in order to enter the subplots. Complete the Magician's subplots to obtain corresponding rewards. Complete all of them to receive the clearance reward: Magician's Costume - Dark Side. Synesthesia Mode - Survivors in Synesthesia Mode can now see each other. - Players in Synesthesia Mode can now detect the locations of their teammates in battle across the map. Battle Adjustments - Improved Rocket Chairs' remaining collision time after they're sent flying so that it fits the visual performance better. Sculptor Adjustments: - Fixed an issue where a Survivor who was dropping a pallet wouldn't be injured by Sculpture Crush coming from the side. Tarot: - The Cowboy will earn Stars for hitting an enemy Survivor with his lasso. He will earn even more Stars when hitting the enemy King. Experience Optimizations - Replaced the image applied to Leo’s Memory - Dawn in Custom Mode. - Matching will only begin after teammates have entered the Detective Lobby or Room. - Added Rebirth effects to the Embalmer's Accessory "Remains of Yellow Roses," when tied to a Rocket Chair, knocked down, and performing Cocoon Death. - Adjusted the halo effects of the Priestess' Costume "Golden Future" and added a switch to hide the halo effect during a match. "Christmas Carol" Event has begun You stumble upon a violinist blocking your path on Christmas Eve. He asks to play you a song in exchange for some drinking money. Before the music reaches a crescendo, the performance attracted even more spectators who are going through a myriad of emotions as they're trying to seek comfort on Christmas Eve. Part 1: Christmas Carol 1. Complete specific quests to obtain Christmas Coins, which can be used to make song requests with the Violinist 2. Players may switch between "Play as you wish" and "Play a specific song" when requesting a song from a list of 4 songs. 3. Play as you wish: Spend 1 Christmas Coin per song to attract different characters who are passing by. 4. Play a specific song: Spend 1 Christmas Coin to play a song for a character you've already met to increase your Friendship with them. 5. Rewards: 5.1 Obtain a Christmas Costume Trial Card, an event portrait, a portrait frame, and other amazing rewards for the first performance each day. 5.2 Players may choose to obtain the special rewards from one of the characters with Max Friendship: Emote - Resonance (the emote will also be available in the shop for a limited time). - When a Survivor is transported back to the Manor on a Rocket Chair in Quick Matches and Rank Matches, they won't enter the results page. Instead, they will enter Synesthesia Mode, where they will stay in the game and observe as a detective in a synesthesia state. - Players may choose to exit Synesthesia Mode and enter regular Spectate Mode from the results page. - Players may choose any detective costumes through Self Examination (mirror) in the Room for the Synesthesia Mode. - Detectives can vault over windows/pallets, move with a speed boost, and more. - Other Survivors and Hunters can't see the detective, but the detective can see all of the Survivors. However, the detective can only see a Hunter if the Hunter is within a 25-meter range of any Survivor. - Players can deactivate Synesthesia Mode in Settings.
- Added scores obtained by the "Undead" when knocking down or eliminating a Survivor. - While the Embalmer is considering whether to use Rebirth and while Rebirth is taking effect on a knocked-down Survivor, the target Survivor's elimination progress will not increase. - Modified the description of the Survivor Talent, Self Deception, from "decrease shock action by half" to "reduce the period of time during which they can't decode by half." - Modified the description of the "Prisoner's" external trait, Obsession, from "rigid time is decreased by 30%" to "reduce the period of time during which he can't decode by 30%." - Improved the landing location judgment of the Hunter active trait, Teleport, so that there will be an additional judgment as to whether there is any Survivor at the default landing location to avoid having the landing location adjusted to an irregular location. - When "the Ripper" is stunned by the Flashlight, the cooldown of "Hidden in Mist" will no longer increase. - Players can now set individual operation plans for Duo Hunters, Blackjack Mode, and Tarot Mode in Custom Battle Controls.

Identity V has finished this week’s server maintenance and the game servers are up and running again. Maintenance content for this week: Shop - Pet: All-new Survivor general A pet - Mini Bloody Queen is now available. It can be exchanged using Fragments and Echoes.
"Herald" Adjustments: - Tier 0 Ability [Swoop] Adjustment: Added a new effect for tapping the ability the third time: Tapping for the third time enables the Cat to expand the Paralysis Area and intimidate Survivors caught within. Intimidated Survivors won't be able to decode, heal, or use items for 10 seconds. The Cat will return to the shadows after the ability is cast, and the ability will enter cooldown. - Tier 0 Ability [Catwalk] Adjustment: This ability is now rechargeable and can be recovered once every 16 seconds. In the process of a Dash Hit, the player may slightly adjust the direction by turning the camera. - Tier 2 Ability [Psychic] Adjustment: This ability will now increase the maximum rechargeable limit of Catwalk to 2. Stats Adjustments: - Cat's outline is now visible within 40 meters instead of unlimited range. New Mechanics: - Once the command to Intimidate is issued, the Cat will no longer be able to possess or confine Survivors and is also unaffected by the Command Mark. - Survivors who have been Intimidated will go stiff for 1 second, during which they can move but certain actions will be interrupted.

Magician Adjustments: - Added an exclusive effect to the Magician's external trait "Illusion" so that Terror Shock will now no longer be triggered when the Magician is hit while becoming invisible. - For the Magician's external trait "Real or Fake," the additional time required to rescue the Magician from a Rocket Chair is reduced from 60% to 40%. Gardener Adjustments: - Added an effect to the Gardener's external trait "Protection," so that after the effect has expired for 20 seconds, she can Recall on the spot for 2 seconds (this effect won't be triggered while she is decoding, moving, or conducting other actions) to gain another protection effect for 5 seconds. Each successful Recall will delay the next Recall by 10 seconds. Barmaid Adjustments: - The Barmaid's Fear after getting Tipsy from mixing Dovlin is reduced from half to a quarter, and her Fear after getting Tipsy from drinking D.U.P.H.R.I.N is reduced from half to a quarter. The Tipsy duration remains unchanged. - When the Barmaid is injured, the time required for mixing is increased to 10 seconds due to insufficient energy. - When the Barmaid has consumed all of her alcohol, her item slot will be emptied and she can pick up another item. Embalmer Adjustments: - Added an effect to the Rebirth trait: When a Survivor with Rebirth is knocked down, the Embalmer can choose to resurrect them. The resurrection of a Survivor who's been knocked down will be counted as if the Survivor has been put on a Rocket Chair once (for the Painter, his Rocket Chair progress will increase by 50% and will count as having been put on a Rocket Chair once). Survivors with Rocket Chair progress over 50% can't be resurrected when they're knocked down. - Tapping the ability button again after the Embalmer has placed the coffin will transport the coffin to the player's location. - When the exit gate is activated, resurrection will no longer come with the Tide Turner effect. - When the exit gate is opened, the coffin can't be placed on the inside of the exit gate. - Once the Embalmer has escaped from the manor, coffins in the scene will be removed. Wildling Adjustments: - Decrease in movement speed is reduced from 11% to 4%. - Adjusted the All Thumbs trait. The decrease in cipher machine decoding speed is now reduced from 40% to 30%. - Adjustments to the Wildling Partner: 1) Added an energy attribute to the Wildling Partner. When the Wildling enters the Riding State, the partner's current energy will be displayed. A certain portion of energy will be deducted when the Wildling moves, uses Bump (consuming 5% of the maximum energy), or while riding. Each successful Bump against a Hunter will consume an additional 10% of the maximum energy. The Riding State will end when all energy has been consumed. 2) Each of the Wildling's successful Bump adds 10% to the Survivor's struggle progress when tied to a balloon. 3) When the Wildling's Bump failed, the ability cooldown is reduced from 25 seconds to 10 seconds. In the meantime, he will recover 40% Rage instead of having it emptied. 4) The Wildling Partner's Rage in Riding State will now increase over time, reaching the maximum in 10 seconds. Its accumulation speed will increase by 60% when facing a Hunter head-on. - Specific furniture (Phonograph, Gramophone) in the Room can now play specific Room Music and your teammates get to listen to it, too. Once you've used the specific furniture to play music, it will replace the Room's default background music. Logging in again, exiting the game, and performing other operations will pause the Room Music. Teammates who joined in midgame may not be in sync with the Captain's music, but it will become in sync when the next song is played. - After the maintenance on December 3, 2020, players can claim 5 pieces of Room Music upon completing a battle quest on the event page. Players must have a Room and furniture that plays music in order to complete the event quest. New Hunter ["Undead" - Percy] External Trait 1 - [Recharge]: Percy can use his ability to increase his energy load. When the energy reaches 50, Percy will enter an Energy Surge state, during which his ability is enhanced. During Energy Surge state, his normal attack cannot be interrupted by Survivors and can shatter pallets that have been pulled down. When the energy reaches 100, Percy will enter an overload state, during which his movement speed is decreased by 8% and he is unable to any ability for 14 seconds. External Trait 2 - [Surrogate]: Percy can't place Survivors on Rocket Chairs. However, the elimination progress of Survivors knocked down by Percy will directly increase by 25%, their self-heal limit is raised to 95%, their crawling speed is increased by 200%, and their location is revealed to Percy for 6 seconds when they get back on their feet. When all of the Survivors are knocked down, the elimination speed is increased by 300%. After the exit gate has been activated, the elimination speed against knocked down Survivors is increased by 300%.
Ability 2 - [Charged Strike]: A charged strike on the ground sending all Survivors within range flying. The range expands as the charged duration increases. When the charged duration exceeds a certain threshold, the hit comes with the effect of a normal attack. Using this ability increases the energy load by 20. Energy Surge: This ability cannot be interrupted by Survivors. Before the Charged Strike ability ends, holding the ability button again will trigger another Charged Strike. Ability 3 - [Energy Conversion]: When this ability is used while Percy's energy load is below 50, his energy load will increase by 50 and he'll enter Energy Surge. When this ability is used when Percy is in Energy Surge mode, his energy load will decrease by 50 and he will exit Energy Surge mode.
1) Tide Turner: After healing a knocked down Survivor, both you and the Survivor will be invincible for 20 seconds. This ability can only be used once. 2) Savior Complex: After healing a knocked down Survivor, gain a 5/10/15% movement speed boost for 3 seconds 3) Herd Mentality: When you are within 12/18/24 meters of a knocked down survivor, your movement speed increases by 4/6/8% 4) Snooze: Reduces the elimination speed by 3/6/9% 5) Symbiotic Effect: Movement Speed is increased by 24/6% when running towards knocked down Survivors 6) Light-footed: Running within 18 meters of a knocked down survivor leaves no trail. 7) Distress: Other survivors can see each other after you're knocked down.

Tarot Mode Adjustments
- Added spawn points for both factions in Tarot Mode. - Added a general ability for the Knight - Phasing. The Knight will obtain a 10% movement speed buff for 3 seconds and ignore character collision upon use. CD: 20s. - Optimized the character selection function in the Tarot Mode waiting lobby. When the King and the Squires' character selection is locked, there will be a 20-second window for the Knight to change characters. - Adjusted the cross-role matching rules in the Tarot Mode pre-matching interface. If there isn't any target nearby, the Sculpture of Nobility will shatter immediately upon formation. Painter Adjustments: - The Painter's number of paintings is adjusted from 3 to 2. - The time required to trigger the drawing board's effect after being placed by the Painter is slightly extended so that the effect will only be triggered when the Painter's action of placing the drawing board has ended. - Enhanced the notice prompt for placing drawing boards in the scene. When a drawing board is within display range, its outline can be clearly seen despite obstacles were in the way. New Survivor Name: Edgar Valden Profession: Painter Introduction: The single male heir of Valden family, Edgar showed keen interest and great talent for art from a young age. His family's pampering and the society's high praise contributed to his peculiar personality. He cares about nothing but art. He's so arrogant that no one is good enough to discuss art with him. He didn't join the game for the prize money as he is the single heir of the affluent family. So why did he join the game? External Trait: Artistic Sensitivity He carries a paintbrush and a drawing board with him. Once he has memorized a Hunter's face, the Painter is able to paint the Hunter's face on the drawing board. When the painting is done, he can place the drawing board in the scene. When the Hunter sees the placed drawing board, they will be attracted by it, walking over involuntarily and stopping to admire their own visage in front of it. If the Hunter takes too much time walking over to the drawing board, they will lose interest in the painting, which renders the drawing board useless. Memorizing: Within a certain range from a Hunter, the Painter needs to look at the Hunter's face from the front to memorize it. Painting: Once he has memorized the Hunter's face, tap the ability button to begin painting. The Painter can move while painting but cannot interact. Tap the ability button again to stop painting. Placing the drawing board: When the painting is done, tap the ability button to place the drawing board. The Hunter will be attracted by force when they get close to the drawing board. Aesthetic Resonance During the creation of a painting, the Painter will be affected by his own work. Every time he places a painting, his movement speed will increase permanently by 2%. This effect can be stacked up to 3 times. Intuition The Painter is perceptive and observant to real-life objects and so he will not be affected by a Rocket Chair with 50% progress. When he is put on a Rocket Chair for the second time, the progress will return to the same progress of the last time he was saved. Galatea's sculpture can push Survivors by force. Pushing Survivors against obstacles will deal damage equal to half of a normal attack on them. Sculptures are generated in pairs and will move towards each other at high speed once they have risen. If they hit an obstacle, they will return in the opposite direction. They will be destroyed if they hit an obstacle 3 times. Special: The generation of sculptures is restricted by the terrain so that only one sculpture will be generated when using the ability in certain special terrains. Survivors will not suffer repeated damage from Sculpture Crush within 1 second.

New Character - Entomologist
The Entomologist carries a net that can assemble a swarm of insects in front of her. The swarm will form a barrier so that Hunters passing through it will be disrupted and their movement speed will be reduced by 70%. Survivors will not be affected. Antonio plays out terrifying music with all the melody in the world. Survivors hit by Antonio's abilities will be infected with multiple stacks of [Demon Notes]. [Demon Notes]: Survivors' movements are affected by the music resounding in their ears. They need to find a quiet place to calm down. 1/2/3 stack(s) of Demon Notes will decrease the movement speed by 4%/8%/12%, and decrease the decoding and healing speed by 15%/30%/50%. Where there are no other Survivors within a 24m radius, the infected Survivor can calm down through meditation and remove the effect of the Demon Notes.
Antonio plays the first Music Note at the target location. He can use his ability to play a second Music Note in 5s. The two Music Notes will fly to the target location and resonate to generate [Terrifying String Music]. [Terrifying String Music]: Stays on the field for 13s and only deals damage when it's generated. Survivors who are hit will suffer damage equal to 1 normal attack plus 1 stack of Demon Note. When these Survivors touch the same String Music later, another stack of Demon Note will be added with no damage suffered. There is a 5s buffer for the String Music to add a stack of Demon Note to the same Survivor.
Antonio performs for 9s: During the crazed performance, he can move during the backswing of normal attacks and charged attacks. His attacks won't collide with scene features. At the same time, he will also send out an additional [Terrifying Music Note] along with each attack. "Eternal Forest" event will be available after maintenance on March 12, 2020 until March 22, 2020 23:59:59 ((Server opening time: E.U. and U.S. Servers will be available on March 12th, 2020 at 07:30:00, UTC+8) Participate in the event to obtain rewards including Axe Boy's B Costume - Death of Eurya. Plant a tree, build a forest! The event is divided into 5 stages. At each stage, when players win a battle (not including Blackjack, Custom and Five-Player Rank Match modes), they can obtain the corresponding tree seed of the current stage. Players can obtain 2 trees from each stage at most. Having obtained the trees, players can plant them at the Eternal Forest event interface and water them with the water droplets obtained from time spent online. Each tree from each stage will attract elves. Grow trees and attract elves to gain rewards. Forest Mystery: Players will obtain a "Sheet Music" for logging in each day. Carries a shovel, enabling him to enter underground Sneak mode; In underground Sneak mode, Grave Keeper can dig and move underground; In underground Sneak mode, Grave Keeper can go through pallets that are knocked down, but he can't go through other obstacles for fear of them collapsing; Given the limited oxygen underground, there is a time limit for underground Sneak mode, but Grave Keeper can stop digging and resurface to the ground at any time. If Grave Keeper is attacked in underground Sneak mode, he can shield damage once and resurface to the ground; In underground Sneak mode, if there is sufficient space underground, Grave Keeper can go down a level by digging downwards, leaving a pothole behind in the same spot. The pothole will disappear after a duration.
As a result of his claustrophobia, Grave Keeper's movement speed is increased by 10% in underground Sneak mode.
When Grave Keeper chooses to resurface to the ground without receiving any damage, he becomes at ease, increasing his rescue speed by 50% for 5 seconds.

1. Increased the duration of Herald's weapon retrieval motion when performing regular attack (from 0.467 seconds to 0.777 seconds); 2. Shortened the distance in which the voice of "Herald" can be heard during battles; 3. Wildling will no longer leave the riding state when inflicted with the Confinement effect of Cat; 4. When Survivors in Stealth mode is inflicted with the Confinement effect of Cat, they will now be taken out of Stealth mode so they won't suffer Terror Shock triggered by Stealth mode.
1. Added new Tier 0 skill: Infinite Nirvana - Throws the Umbrella at the target location, where it will stay for 5 seconds. Outlines of Survivors in the area covered by the Umbrella will be shown, with their movement speed and vaulting speed slightly decreased, and other interaction speed significantly decreased. Outlines of these Survivors will still be shown for 5 seconds after they leave the area. For the duration where the Umbrella is active, Wu Chang can choose between teleporting to the Umbrella and switch into Dual Soul mode, or retrieve the Umbrella to recover skill cooldown. Without the Umbrella, Wu Chang's movement speed and window vaulting speed is increased, but he can't attack or engage in other interactions. The Umbrella will return to Wu Chang when the 5 seconds are up; 2. Increased the attacking speed of Wu Chang's first attack after switching into Dual Soul mode; 3. Adjusted the action speed of Wu Chang's Summon skill so that it's now linked to the teleportation distance - the shorter the distance, the faster the action speed; 4. Basic Value Adjustment: Slightly increased White Guard's Pallet destroying speed and Black Guard's movement speed. Improved Wu Chang's attack and knife judgment.

[External Trait - Shadow Step]:The Cat was born in a dark shadow and ignores certain laws of physics. Its body generates an expanding [Alert Radius] and [Paralysis Area] after it splits. [Alert Radius]: When Survivors enter its range, the alerted Cat will refresh its existence time, bite on Survivors' shadow and move with it. [Paralysis Area]: When Ann enters its range, the Cat's strength surges and it confines the movement of all Survivors in the area. Getting confined by the Cat multiple times continuously will significantly reduce the confined duration.
Ann sends her Cat sprinting in the target direction. Tap the skill button again and the Cat will split into two and run in opposite directions. The Cat will split automatically after 5 seconds. After the split, split cats will exist for 10 seconds.
Ann shares some of her Cat's power through their bond. Ann can now sense where any of her Cats is and dash towards it with alarming speed.
Ann creates a Command Mark at the target location. The Cat commanded will refresh its existence time and come toward the Mark.
